How to Format Your Posts

Make Your Posts Beautiful with Fortmatting

We use a strict subset of Markdown to format text. Markdown allows you to use rich formatting without having to know HTML.

Bold Text

To use bold text, insert your text between two stars, **, on each side.

This line has **an example of bold** text.

The above line produces “This line has an example of bold text.”

Italic Text

Italic text is handled exactly like bold text except instead of two stars, use only one.

This line has *an example of italic* text.

The above line produces “This line has an example of italic text.”

You can mix both styles.

This line has *an example of bold and italic* text.

The above line produces “This line has an example of bold and italic text.”

Using Quotations

To quote someone precede the text, on a new line, with a greater-than bracket, or >.

> One should always be in love. That is the reason one should
never marry.

The above line renders the following:

One should always be in love. That is the reason one should never marry.

You can use bold text inside quotes.

When I was young I thought that money was the most important thing in life; now that I am old I know that it is.

If you ever feel the need to correct something but keep a record of it, you can. Insert corrections as you would bold text, but surround your text with two tildes instead of stars.

Robin Van Persie is ~~an Arsenal player~~ a traitor.

This produces the following text.

Robin Van Persie is an Arsenal player a traitor.

There are two levels of titles h2, and h3. To create a title start a new line with ## or ### depending on the level you want.

## Nixon Resigns
### He urges a time of 'Healing'; Ford will take office today

The above produces the following title:

Nixon Resigns

He urges a time of ‘Healing’; Ford will take office today

Horizontal Rules

You can create a horizontal rule to divide your post into sections. Anywhere, on a new line, type three or more dashes, ’-’.

The above text produces a divider like the one below.

See the post titled Using Images for instructions on using images.

For unordered (bulleted) lists use hyphens (-) as list markers.

- Swiss Army knife
- Duct tape
- No gun

This above block produces the following list.

 • Swiss Army knife
 • Duct tape
 • No gun

You can create ordered lists by using numbers and dots instead of dashes.

1. Swiss Army knife
2. Duct tape
3. No gun
 1. Swiss Army knife
 2. Duct tape
 3. No gun

For sure, isn't a perfect place to share my equestrian hobby, but I have to start somewhere, so I thought that this category will be ok. Thing for several riders. Some riders don't feel the necessity to use them and consider them an unnecessary attachment, while others can't imagine functioning without them. What's the truth? In case you choose to use a carpet, which one would be suitable for your horse?

It's true that in their Natural habitat, horses do just fine without such conveniences as rugs. However, we need to be aware that horses functioning in horse riding don't have the same functioning conditions as the horses living in their natural habitat. To start with, horses training below the saddle are usually shaven, which impacts their natural protective layer against low temperatures. Most time when it's cold outdoors, these horses invest inside, where they're not subject to reduced temperatures. The matter of a different diet is crucial here. That is why we can't expect them to have the immunity that their free brothers have. While changing the horses' customs and surroundings, we need to supply them with protection from the negative effects of e.g. weather. For that very reason we've got various types of carpeting. Which type would be most useful to your horse and when to use it? We will attempt to explain that.

In shops it is possible to encounter these types of rugs:

Training -- this type of carpet is set on together with a saddle. It'll be ideal for colder days. We should mention that training together must not be too exhausting, as your horse could have difficulty with losing heat excess from your system.

Dry -- normally made of fleece or some other material with moisture-absorbing properties. This type of rugs is usually used after instruction so as to wash the horse. In shops, you can locate them as fleece carpeting. They should protect the horse from heating too much, but at the exact same time they don't block air circulation, so the horse does not sweat. To be used in stalls.

Paddock -- to be utilized on paddocks. This will protect your horse against the wind and light rain. Made of materials easy to wash. This type of carpet is ideal for paddocks on rainy days. Mostly they're made to be as waterproof as possible.

Fly -- utilized to protect the horse from insects. Usually made of mesh material. This type of a carpet is super useful in summer time, in which horses are especially subject to insects' bites of all sorts.

Winter -- rugs with cushioning. To be utilized on a paddock or in a non-heated stable. Usually it's possible to pick from a couple thickness of cushioning for one version.

Transport -- to be utilized to protect the horse during transportation.

Another thing would be to adjust the Appropriate length. Namely, the way to select proper dimensions for your own horse. Particular manufacturers have various size markings. It is possible to locate letter sizes (S, M, L etc.), centimeters, or inches. There is a rule where for units of duration is the duration of the carpet on the horse's back. This value is essential for deciding on the right size. Of course, it is best when you can have a look at a graph when all the rug's measurements are mentioned. Then you can be sure a given size will fit your horse properly.

As you can See, by using proper rug you are able to assist your horse in managing unpleasant Weather, insects, or shield him during transportation. Additionally, You shouldn't overdo The whole rug thing. If you use them when they are not needed, you can disturb But you need to remember That without a rug when the weather is poor, you undermine your horse e.g. to a Higher chance of getting cold.
